Yes, I don't have any problems dipping mine - just make sure your consistency is correct before dipping. I also freeze my cake truffles, before dipping. It will help them hold their shape better and the cold will help the ganache harden quicker.

The original question should have been a two parter. Anyone ever mix white cake and chocolate cake to make these delicacies?

Yep, I did yesterday...also added a little strawberry cake scraps...they were a hit at the b-day bash. I dipped them in white chocolate...yum!
