To JustFrosting: I love the theme and everything you suggested. If I might add one more idea to jam your mind - if you do go with sand/ground take a look at the Wilton Tiered Cakes (page 12-13) Stucco Trio which could look like sand in the desert if done in shades of peach and tan. Just a thought.
To Soake: What program did you use to make cake design for JustFrosting? I love your concept as well.
What a great idea I like the colour scheme and the graduated colours on the bottom tiers.I think a little luster dust or pearl dust on the top tier or star will really set it off. I can't wait to see the finished cake . It will be awesome I am sure.

I just use Microsoft Publisher. Most of the shapes are in the Autoshapes menu and the other pictures I just do a google search for what I am looking for (like the sheep!) HTH! ~Sandra
