Hi everybody, just wanting to introduce myself. I am so addicted to this site !!! I have 3 kids, am married and live in Michigan. I really just make cakes as a hobby now..but who knows where it will go! I can only hope to someday do what many of you can. I could look at the galleries all day. Anyway, it's great to see so many nice, creative and helpful people all in one place 
. I look forward to many good discussions.

When I read the little message at first on the home page that it was addicting,I was like...right, that's cute. But it was about two days later that I was up until midnight just cruising the website, and then I had to admit that, yep, I was addicted

How old are your kids? I got into this originally because I hoped to someday make cakes for my son (now almost 3) and two nieces (2 and almost 4.) It's cool because now the oldest two are old enough to have actual cake requests! And it kinda took off from there.

My kiddos are 7(girl), just turned 3(boy) and 14 mths(boy). They are great but they can drive me crazy. I do love 2-3 age though. Do you like that age ? I think it is so much fun when they are just learning about the world.

Hi ShayShay, and thanks! You are too funny. You know, I stay at home with the kids, so it's my husband I need to convince. I keep telling him I am now doing undercover work that is very important and time consuming, and unfortunately it's top secret so he can't see.....only, I don't think he's falling for it.

Despite all the horror stories I had heard, I find I do love this age. He's getting SO serious about things. I'm having a ball planning his Sesame Street cake for Nov. 3.
And my 4-year-old niece has been running around for MONTHS telling people she'd going to have a Little Mermaid cake! Heck with bridezillas ... I've never seen anyone anticipating a cake so much!
Oh man, do I know what you mean. My son is so determined that he must have a horse to ride now that he has cowboy boots. And a blue one at that.
I love making kids birthday cakes, they can be talked into anything and they couldn't care less if there is a mistake on it. They just love cake!!
I absolutely love how you compare your niece to a bridezilla..lol, they really can be too. My daughter was so funny at 4. She was super girly and into mermaids also.

My desk faces out, with my computer facing the back wall/window! So, I sit here, day in and day out surfing CC! I keep a ligitmate work page minimized so if someone walks too close, I pop it up, and minimize CC!
