Lime Green!!!!

I have been stressing about how to make Lime Green icing for a client. I finally found it!

daffodill yellow and light green=Lime Green Success!


I new this customer would be heart broken if I could not make this color for her daughter. I was not thinking and told her "Of course I can make Lime Green they have 1 million colors to choose from!"- Stupid

Is there an Americolor Lime Green?

there is an "electric green". i love this color! whenever i want to brighten up green i add a drop. i mostly use it for children's cakes or funky color combinations.

Ya I have the AMericolor Electric Green, I love it! I used it for a little girls cake.

Hey guys just wanted to add my 2 cents in here. A few months ago...well last year I had to do a cupstacking cake in their colors.....The colors....Lime green and black icon_sad.gif (not my choice but hey) .... anywho I was so intimidated because I had no clue what to do or how to get the color. Sooo one day I went to the Grocery (walmart) to get daily grocerys yadda yadda yadda and when I went down the baking isle I glanced over at where they have the cupcake liners and whatnot....there it was.....a set of NEON GEL COLORS!!!! And let me tell you.....Betty crocker saved my ArSE LOL. And I didn't have to use much to get the color!!! Now see if we could just get our colors that simply we wouldn't have any worries LOL....I stocked up on these. I also have Americolor which I love and Chefmaster which is a dream brand!!!! Just a drop of chefmaster and you have your colors. Soooo...in a pinch...Look in the baking isle at your local Wal Mart...they just might have the gel colors...and they are GREAT!!! icon_smile.gif

HI - the strawberry shortcake green works perfect for me. It's not as bright as the neon colors but still really cool.

icon_surprised.gif Thanks Christi! icon_biggrin.gif I wouldn't have thought of that. I too just love my Americolor colors. I play with them a lot to get combos.
