I've taken a wedding this summer that will be and all cupcake event. I have no clue how to begin pricing this. My base cost for traditional tiered cake is $2.50 per serving. These cupcakes will have a variety of decorations on them....all ivory buttercream with gumpaste flowers in a variety of colors, etc. Possibly some little bows, etc. Anybody done this?????

with all the different flowers and bows, you still should charge at least the $2.50 each! that will be alot of work for you.

I agree with Momlittr. I did 30 cupcakes for a friend's small wedding for free 2 summers ago...ugh. I would have charged about $2 each if I'd known that 1-they were just as time-consuming as a cake and 2-nearly half were left over. Definately charge what you would for a slice of cake!

Just getting back to check on these replies. THANKS SO MUCH! I think I can go with $20/dozen here. Merry Christmas!
