Does anyone have a really good recipe for fondant icing? I'm guessing it's not like regular fondant, but more like icing???
Preferably without Marshmellow please - I don't do gelatin.
Also, can fondant icing be "painted" on? How do you apply it??

Don't quite know what you mean, fondant, but not like fondant, more like regular icing......maybe rolled buttercream???
Yes you can paint on fondant beautifully, with food color and brushes. Americolor gel (sp) is supposedly very good
