WOOHOO! Just had to share!

Now on to Christmas... baking, cooking, dipping, wrapping. Shopping is done, but still waiting on packages to arrive. Trying to use up my chocolate and candy melt supplies before we (hopefully) move, so EVERYONE gets candy along with a small gift. Made the halves of an ornament last night from the sports ball pan, not sure what to fill it with. Maybe cake balls!

Back to work, cakes to decorate!

glad you got allof those nasty finals out of the way! That's a good idea about using the sports ball pan and filling it. Great, now I have to go try it. icon_biggrin.gif

Finnox - GOOD LUCK!!!!

Have to wait a few days for grades. Let us know when yours are done and how you did!

What new pans? Tell! I'm going to replace most of mine soon. I have one 6 inch that tears every cake no matter what. Please share!

Oh, and it took about 3 layers to get a good shell on the ball. Put the pan in the freezer for a few minutes, add about 1/4 cup chocolate, and swirl. Making the halves is as far as I've gotten so far. Not sure how to make it sit nicely or anything yet.

Good for you Zmama,

Have fun with your wrapping, baking, dipping, etc.

If you have any left-over goodies, that you don't want to pack/move, I'd be more than happy to take them off your hands icon_smile.gif

No. no, please, you don't have to thank me. (ROFLMAO)

YEAH! Got A in both classes. icon_biggrin.gif

We do 2 classes at a time but have finals every 5 1/2 weeks, 48 or more credits per year. I'm SOOO thankful to get 3 weeks off twice a year! Christmas and next break will be the wedding.

Weight? hahaha I'm an emotional eater and stress every 5 weeks - tell you anything? I stopped losing when I started at this school because it's much harder than where I was, but am not gaining right now either luckily. Knock on wood! Want to lose at least 10lbs in the next 6 months, but with 4 more finals to get through, one just a week before the wedding, I'm not too hopeful.

When are you getting married?? Congradulations. I took 5 classes this semester and it was horrible. We only take finals at the end of the class but in the middle of the semester we have mid terms which is just like a final.

We only take finals at the end as well, but we have 8 sessions per year, two classes per session. It's pretty intense, but they had a wider variety of classes offered than where I was before. We have midterm critiques, but projects (I'm in graphic design) are for finals only.

We're getting married June 23. Can't wait!

Guess what, I got 2 As 2 Bs and 1 C I am so excited I thought I was going to not pass one class but instead got a B. I busted my but and got a 100 on a astronomy research paper and I didnt feel that I even did good. I really have to start giving myself more credit. But I am so excited it is going to make my day go by so good.

Nice to meet you, Tracy! I'm Nichole.

So far I have made two pillows, one quilt, to canisters of candies, a few crafts, and a graduation cake. All the Christmas presents are wrapped, too! I started a book last night, and will finish it after I vaccum tonight. Went through a stack of cd's to see what is scratched, blank, or needed filed. Cleaned the refrigerator, went through the cupboards to check expiration dates, and organized my art supplies. School ended TWO days ago! I don't know what I'll do - school doesn't start for 3 more WEEKS, and the kids will be gone for 8 days of that. Any ideas?

How's your break going?

Its going great! I made dog food or puppy chow whatever people like to call it. Chex mix with chocolate peanut butter and vanilla and then covered with powdered sugar. Thats what it is I guess it is supposed to look like dog food whatever the reason it is so good. My daughter spent the night last night at grandparents house so me and my husband went out to eat and came home and watched a movie. Today I just cleaned the house. Tom. I plan on making a custard and whatever else I can think of. I love this time because I can spend alot of time with my daughter and thats what truly makes me happy. She is amazing and always so happy I couldnt imagine my life without her.
