Depending on the type of cheesecake, I've done mine two ways. Either I flip the cheesecake onto a cake board upside down, remove the bottom of the springform pan, and then flip the cheesecake rightside up onto the serving plate. Or I use two spatulas and just lift the cheesecake off. Either way; let it cool down completely first!

Put parchment between the pan and the bottom crust. You should be able to slide a flat icing spatula between the parchment and pan once the cake is cold and move it to a plate with out tearing it up.

I usually place a cake circle in the bottom of my springform pan and bake it that way. Then I have no problem moving it onto a serving plate.
