Hello fellow CC'ers,

I really need to know if i can bake a cake and frost it the 21st for the 22nd. it will be elmo full body character cake for me sons christmas party at his daycare.

will it get mushy?
can i leave it outside int he box?

clueless on what the outcome's gonna be..

SURE, you can........Cakes can sit out for a couple of days....... You don't eat a cake you make for home in one day, do you ?.......Unless of course you are using a filling that will spoil.........as a matter of fact, if you are using fondant, DO NOT put it in the refridgerator...... it will RUIN it......

Just givign my self a bump.... It will be a crusting buttercream. And no filling..
