Okay, wierd question, but here's my idea. I'm doing a cake for a guy getting sent to Djibouti (ja-booty) in Jan. We have this running joke, about watch out for "ja-booty" (your booty). So I thought it would be funny to make the cake have a big booty on it and say something clever with the play on words. But I've never carved a cake, or make something like this. Any advice on how to do it? Also, any good ideas for clever phrases to write? He's going away for 6 months! Yikes..
Thanks for the help

I think I've seen them made the same way as breasts - 2 half balls, but sliced a little at one side and then pushed together to form the 'butt'. There's usually a thong stuck down the middle! If you need it to serve lots of people (if you just used the Wilton ball pan, it would serve 12-16), then put it on top of a sheet cake and carve the sides a bit to represent waist, hips, thighs etc. Hope that helps! There are lots of pictures in the naughty gallery for inspiration!

I have also seen the heart pan turned upside down, with the tops of the heart being the buns and the underwear situated appropriately. Then, cut the point of the heart off so as to make the "waist". Make sense? LOL!

Hope that helps!

Thanks for the info. I looked through the naughty cakes. The only thing is, they are all chicks booty's. I need a guy in some Hanes or Cami's. But besides that, I kind of need a good tutorial on cake sculpting. I searched the net and didn't come up with much. Anybody have some good sites for this?
Thanks! usaribbon.gif

The main difference between the two sex's rumps are that there is more definition from the backs of the thighs on a woman. Make it more of an incline, and it should look more masculine. See below picture:

Thanks 7yyrt! That's EXACTLY what I was looking for. Are there any more views of this pic? Where'd you find it? I have been looking through the naughty cakes for hours! I even did an internet search and didn't find anything like this.

Still wondering if anyone has a good site with tutorials on cake sculpting, I still haven't been able to find that either....

thanks everyone!

I found it at:
http://celebrationcakes.com.au/novelty.php
It's the only picture of this cake. I have a thumbnail-sized picture showing a similar cake without frosting (I don't know where I found it) I'll PM you with it). If you scroll right you can find a spiderman cake showing his back.
