Today is the day I deliver my second Wedding cake and I woke up to find it snowing outside! Thank goodness it has now stopped but the temperature is still hanging around freezing. I hope the roads don't freeze up. I've never driven on ice before icon_sad.gif
I hope I can take pictures of the cake after I get it set up. My cameras internal battery is dead but is supposed to be able to also use 2 AA batteries. We'll see. I've found that the most difficult pictures to try to take is the Wedding cake pictures when you have a dead camera. It works fine at home when I can plug it up and use it. I think it's time for a new one. Any suggestions for a new inexpensive digital camera?

You'll be fine. I've got fingers and toes crossed for ya.

As for the camera, I have a canon powershot A75, and I love it. It runs on 4 AA's. And when I got it it was around$250, but I think it's much less now.

Hi y'all!!
The cake turned out ok. Here is a pic of it. The couple that just got married was there when I arrived to set it up. They said they really liked it and I hadn't even set it up yet! LOL
The drive was fine. All the snow was gone. It was pretty cold though. Thanks for all the positive vibes!!!

The cake is beautiful! As for your camera, I have rechargeable batteries for my camera and they work and last much longer than just regular batteries. I have two sets so when the one set runs out I just put the other set in, works wonderful!

Wow, very very cute cake! I love the colors! And for the snow, I'm glad you made it!!! I have to confess I'm terrified of driving with snow or ice! So happy for you, you made it!!!!! You are brave!
And for cameras, I have a Sony 5 mpx. I think any brand really works great, just look for a high mpx one. I've heard that the kodak easy share is wonderful and very affordable! HTH!
