Here is one. What kind of dog did you plan to make?

what type of dog? 3-D? i have a dog cake in my photos that was fairly simple and looked pretty cool. i cut it out of a 1 layer round cake by drawing an outline on paper first, placed it over the cake and just carved. i frosted it with a combination of buttercream and coconut pecan premade frosting to get the dog hair affect. i used melted chocolate for the detail (you could also use colored bc). if you wanted another look, you could use the hair icing tip...

another idea is a bone cake with a fondant puppy climbing on top- original design by debbie brown.

I think the site may be down. You might try again later.
