They look really cute and I thought it would match my work on children's cakes well, but you have to buy 10 of the same letter.

I was just curious if any out there has used them and if they are worth it; I mean, it's easy enough to make letters from fondant...

They are very cute - it is a shame you can't pick and choose which 10 you want so you aren't left with too many extra letters. Do you do enough kids cakes to justify the overages so that they would eventually be used?

Wow...at 70 cents a letter, though?

I know... they have a smaller size, too. Another negative thing is the colors. I like the colors, but while I do a lot of kids' cakes they are not all in those colors - and what if a letter I need is in a color I'm not using?

Guess I'll stick to sugar cookies. With the cookies I can design them to match the cake, they are just time consuming.

Those are colorflowed?? They look like cookies! I colorflow monograms all the time, so I couldn't justify that kind of expense. It's very easy to do too. If you look in my pix, you will see a closeup of a golden monogram I flowed. Took 10 minutes to do, two days to dry and then I gilded it. The most time was dry time.

those look like cookies on a stick to me with royal decorations. easy enough to do on your own and won't cost near that! very nice though and gave me some more ideas! Thanks for sharing.

I bet you could do the same thing with the alphabet/number pack you get from Wilton - would save a lot of money that way. You would just have to find a way to get a support it if it was going directly in the cake, or get stencils and colorflow those?

I also saw a mold in my Kitchen Krafts catalog for numbers with the triangular base already in the mold - can use with chocolate, marzipan, fondant, gumpaste, etc. I'm adding it to my shopping list.
