Oreo Truffles -Freezable??

Hi-
I'm about to make a batch of the oreo cookie truffles (recipe from CC). I am wondering if I can freeze them. I will freeze them without the chocolate covering, and then dip them later? Do you think that will work?

They should be fine frozen. I have all my millions of cake balls frozen after they are dipped. I am going to find homes for them all for Christmas (not in my stomach though).
