Tonight was the Christmas program for my 2 kids at preschool, and I had signed up to bring some cookies for afterwards. There were three 8 foot tables, covered with cookies brought in by Moms, so there were lots of choices. The teachers were hoarding my cookies! LOL They have had them before, and were all very excited when they saw me sign up to bring something. They all went on and on about how much they LOVE my cookies. I was afraid I wouldn't get out the door because they were making my head so big! LOL It was nice to hear, don't get me wrong! Just trying to stay humble here and give God the credit!

(I did also set out a small stack of business cards, and all but 2 were taken. YAY!)

Don't try to deflate your head. Enjoy it. Besides if your kids are like mine; they are holding on to your legs. so, there is no fear of floating away. You deserve to enjoy all the compliments.

Thank you everyone. Like I said, it was great to know that the cookies were enjoyed! I was just a little embarassed by how much attention I was getting about it. I didn't want to look like I was using the evening to shamelessly promote myself. The program was about the kids and I wanted to keep the focus that way. Lots of times I am in my "business woman" mode, but last night I was just trying to be in "Mom" mode, ya know what I mean?

Enjoy it!!! icon_wink.gif And yes I know what ya mean about being in mom mode. I made a couple cakes for the daddy daughter dance with hopes that maybe I would get a few orders from it, no one asked for a card, and only one person asked who made the cakes and then didn't even take a piece when I said I had made them lol. I'm not sure if anyone asked the people in charge of the event who to call or whatnot but no one asked me lol. I did have alot of people say how beautiful they were and how delicious they were even though I wasn't happy with the way they turned out (bc crusted way too much lol) but everyone enjoyed them icon_smile.gif

Be happy they enjoy them so much they hide them from others, instead of trashing them because they taste nasty lmao icon_wink.gif
