I made up a "test" batch of filling for a cake I am making next month. I used:

1 & 1/2 C whipping cream
1C powdered sugar
8oz cream cheese
16 oz container of sliced strawberries (drained)

I whipped the cream and set aside in the fridge. I then creamed the cream cheese, and added the powdered sugar and the strawberries (drained). I noticed it was quite runny, so I added 2T of flour to it. I didnt want it to be too sweet. I then folded in the whipped cream, and it is WAY too runny (but tastes GREAT LOL)! I would appreciate any suggestions how to make it thicker for next time, but without adding any more sugar, it is sweet enough.

Would gelatin or something work?
Thanks in advance for your help! I couldnt do it w/o my fellow CC'ers!

Chilling it will help it thicken

I did chill it, and it thickened some, but was still runny and will not work for a filling.
Does anyone know if gelatin or cornstarch will help?
