This is the 3rd time I've tried to use my 3" cake pan. Its a 12X12X3 and each time the chocolate cake sinks! What am I doing wrong. I use 2 nails in baking it.

Thanks, Mare

I have the same size pan...never use a nail in it. I always use baking strips at 325 and they always come out perfect.

Hope this helps some

Was it a scratch cake or a mix?

Thanks MnSnow!

I think I will get some baking strips. I do bake at 325 though. The cake was the chocolate version of the WASC without almond.
