I am looking for a great cream cheese icing for a red velvet cake. Also what would one charge for a 9" two layered red velvet cake with the cream cheese icing?

that is my favorite cake and icing. This is the recipe I use. You can also use this for italian cream cake and add coconut flavoring and it is out of this world:
1 package (8oz) cream cheese
4 tablespoons (1/2) stick butter
3 cups confectioners sugar sifted
2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
blend cream cheese and butter together on low speed until combined. slowly add confectioners sugar until the sugar is incorporated. Add the vanilla then increase the mixer speed to medium and blend until fluffy (1 minute or more).

If you need to do any decorating at all the decorators cream cheese icing in the recipe section is great. Take heed and make sure your butter and cream cheese is room temp like it suggests - that makes a world of difference in consistency - I found that out the hard way - icon_confused.gif I used it this weekend as my icing and did some cornelli lace with it.

And I have no idea on pricing - sorry....

Good luck.
