How do you get that bright, bold purple color that is common with the Bratz dolls?? I have the "Barbie" set of colors-seems like when I used it I could never get the purple as bright as I would've liked. Same with pink-what would you mix to get a "hotter" pink? Any help would be greatly appreciated!! I have to decorate this cake tonight and I'm worried I won't be able to get the colors right.....TIA!

The Wilton color mixing chart may help.

If you don't already know, you should make those colors A.S.A.P. so they can get to their true color.

Good Luck!

They just darken a little as they sit. Just make sure they're covered up, completely air tight and then mix them up before you're ready to use them.

I have mixed some pink in with purple too, to make different shades of purple.

I do have a bratz cake in my photos, but that was straight purple.

Good Luck!

I have a Bratz cake in my gallery also. I used Americolor for the pink and purple. Sorry, I don't have the bottles anymore so I'm not sure what shades they were. I think the pink was electric pink.
