I made a batch of fondant using a recipe that calls for egg, CS and glucose.
it is kind of disintegrating!!
when I stretch it with my fingers it cracks but it is not dry at all!! it seems like falling apart!!
What is wrong with this fondant? icon_cry.gificon_cry.gificon_cry.gif

I wish I knew what to tell you. I always make MMF. It has never failed me. I just made 4 batches of it tonight for a cake.

What other ingredients are in the recipe? I am not familiar with one that has eggs in the recipe but if you give us the rest of the ingredients and quantities maybe we can help you out a bit more. Sorry you are having troubles.

I had some mmf melt on me as I worked it one time. In my case it was a humid night and the sweat from my hands was what made it fall apart. No amount of cornstarch or crisco saved that batch.

Sorry.
