I love Toba Garrett's fondant recipe and found a great way to make it without even getting my hands sticky!

Combine the gelatine, karo (or glucose), flavoring and glycerine like the recipe says. Make sure you stir it until it's almost clear. You sometimes have to warm it a bit more in the microwave.

In your stand mixer with the dough hook, place 3/4 of the powdered sugar. I always make a double batch so that''s about 4 cups. Make a well in the center and pour in the liquid. Start the mixer on low and after a couple of minutes turn it up just a little. You'll need to scrape down the powdered sugar on the sides so it begins to get incorporated. After about 5 minutes, it will have formed a soft ball. Put another 3 cups of PS on the counter top and place the soft ball on top. You really don't even need to grease your hands if you're careful. Keep folding and incorporating the PS until it's the right consistency. At the very end of kneading I added about a tablespoon of crisco and kneaded that in before wrapping. Voila!!
