I want to offer cookie assortments as gift otions for Chanukah but I can't figure out nice packaging. I want to use either tins or some nice boxes. Can anyone recommend a source?

Thanks,
Kathi

I guess you'd need to separate the different kinds of cookies (crisp from soft, e.g.), so what about using festive cellophane bags, tied with ribbons and presented in a wicker basket?
(Sorry, just re-read your post, and that wasn't what you asked for at all, was it? That's what I'd do though!) icon_rolleyes.gif

I use Nashville Wraps for most of my packaging- they have a good selection of boxes, bags, etc.

Thanks TubbsCookies. I've done the baskets before, but I'm trying to find boxes or tins because I think they will sell better to my target audience. Plus, I can ship tins and boxes easier and since I want to market these as gifts, I want that factor.

I'll check out Nashville Wraps, ac0474.

Thanks,
Kathi

Now I'm jealous Deb!! Our Jewish population isn't big enough here to support that! Even after making requests Michaels and ACMoore won't carry that stuff here! They say it never sells!! icon_mad.gif

At Christmas I do platters that you can get for a $1 at Walmart and I believe they also sell Chanukah stuff. I then wrap them in the colored foil and tie them with ribbon and a bow. That makes a great gift!
I also like some of the packaging that Sweet Celebrations has in their catalog. www.sweetc.com
Ive bought things from Nashville Wraps also.

I use deluxe white gift boxes. They are available a couple of places but I buy from Uline

http://www.uline.com/Browse_Listing_5625.asp

They are a very high quality that people love. Since they are white I can choose any seasonal colored ribbons and not worry about clashing.

Also FYI I love tins but the shipping costs to get them are usually much higher than boxes.

Kathi,
I just copied this from an email I got from the Revere Group - they have lovely packaging for everyday and holiday. Also coordinating bags and boxes, inserts, ribbons - all kinds of stuff.

Hope this helps icon_smile.gif

I stumbled across this site when I was doing a search for tins and they have a great selection of plain containers. Not sure that this is what your looking for but I was going to add a label and ribbon so I didn't want any design to compete with.

I also bought boxes at Nashville Wraps which I love!!!

I just wanted to say THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for this website. They have some buckets that I have been looking for along with great packaging at a reasonable price! I can't wait to order some of the items. And I love that I can order in large qty's or single, will make it a lot easier on me to find the ones i like.

oh and waxed tissue paper? even better, I can't find anything like it around here.
