Hi All, I am doing a small wedding cake for this Sunday and am making roses out of buttercream for on the cake. When should I make the roses...and do I need to let them sit out at room temperature or put them in the freezer?
Thanks in advance.

I make mine a day or two in advance and freeze them for easier application and in my experience this time of year they get pretty soft at room temp due to heat being on and oven use.

You can do them now...if you do I would freeze them only because they are easier to place on the cake. Or you can do them the day before and let them sit out...I like to do mine before and freeze so I know atleast one part of the cake came out right!!
