I'm so jealous!!! Pigeon Forge is one of my favorite places to go! Shopping, food, fun...shopping! They have a wonderful scrapbooking store if you also like to scrapbook!
I am about 3.5 hours to the Southeast and go as often as I can, but have yet to find any cake deco stores or bakeries

I'm excited..a little overwhelmed too...
with my full time work, cakes, TN trip, and I'm also moving when I come back from TN... I just need to breathe LOL....and have some cake too hehehe
we just came back from there this weekend after meeting my mom and dad for their 40th anniversary celebration. i surprised them with a tiered cake at a surprise dinner at one of the really nice restaurants on the strip in gatlinburg, and all of the servers were asking me if i lived nearby. when i told them no and asked them why, they said that there is only one decorator in town....i was so shocked...i mean, this is a huge wedding destination place for people who want quick and simple weddings, so i don't get it!!!!
there are alot of candy/fudge/dessert places on the strip in gatlinburg...check them out...all in the name of research, of course!!!

So far I haven't found any cake decorators or bakeries in Pigeon Forge...I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing since in the future, we (hubby and I) might be moving up there.
So far 7 loads of laundry has been washed, cakes all baked, and dishes have been clean...
The real fun begins when we get back and we start moving to our new house... 
Where do you live now? Pigeon Forge is a really nice place but very busy since it is a huge tourist town.

I am glad you liked TN I am in Knoxville like a 20 miles away from Peigon Forge..it is beautiful this time of year...still in the 80 though lol....and mid Oct. lol

the lowest it got was like 50 degrees...
And I was searching and searching for cake decorators but there were NONE...
Fudge shops everywhere though!!
we like our fudge and the smoky mountain taffy..lol...
