Do y'all have a supply list handy that you could e-mail me for Course I that is above and beyond what comes in the kit? Especially a breakdown of what's needed for each class?
Thanks in advance,
Rachel
The only thing I can think of other then what's in the kit is maybe some extra couplers, cake boards and disposable bags.
Also here's a trick that really helped me when it came time to learn the rose. When making it you have to switch tips (or bags) while holding onto the nail. Take along some foam block (like for flower arrangements) you can put the nail in that when switching and trying to ''regroup''. Helped me so much. Good Luck!
Do you mean the first Wilton cake decorating class?
If so, for the class I took, I had to make and decorate a cake every week. I wouldnt know the exact breakdown each week but I can tell you an overview.
So that means for each week:
cake mix (or scratch recipe)
one pound of confectioners' sugar for icing.
meringue powder for icing
vanilla for icing
crisco or other shortening for icing
a good mixer
also, I bought extra icing bags and tip 789.
I am scanning my brain to see if I remember anything else..... ![]()

Hello,
You will need the following:
piping gel
meriengue powder
flower lifter
derby clown heads (if you want to make the clown cake)
You will probably want the following:
extra couplers/rings
extra featherweight bags
turntable
extra tips 16 (maybe 4-5 extra)
angled spatula
If you are just starting out the big 101pc caddy kit is great to have, espescially if you get the 40% off at Michaels.
I know I'm probably forgetting something, but it should get you started anyways!

You'll need meringue powder, buttercream icing in a stiff consistancy, 3 plastic containers for mixing icing in the 3 different consistancies, icing spatula, clear vanilla and butter flavorings, wax paper squares, measuring spoons, a cake, cake container ( cake carrier is best ), icing bags, scissors, a couple couplers, and that's about all I can remember. Hope this helps. You should have gotten a syllabus for the class that lists all the supplies you'll need.
I actually have taken all the classes and even taught, but the mom's group I'm in is asking me to teach some classes and I am just trying to come up with a supply list.
