I wanted to ask everyone what their favorite fall cake was??? I entered the oktoberfest baking contest and won first place so I'm looking for a new recipe for next year. Any suggestions??

Pumpkin spice cake with cream cheese/powdered sugar filling so that it tastes like a pumpkin roll (but much easier to make). Congratulations on winning!

Are you willing to share your winning recipe? I am trying to find a killer pumpkin cake recipe, but the two I have tried were too dense, and too moist (didn't think there was such a thing, but it was meant to be a sheet cake and couldn't hold its weight).

I think an apple cake with caramel buttercream filling might be a great change for a fall cake. I have a great caramel bc recipe if you would like to pm me. <<Cheryl
