Does anyone know where I can find rice paper that looks old. I'm doing a Torah Scroll Cake next year and would like to do the Hebrew writing on tis type of paper. Would this work. If I printed the page and had it printed for edible image and then went over the words with RI or left as is. Her's a picture of the cake I want to make.

You can use cocoa and brush it on very slightly to give it an aged look.

I never thought of that. So use regular rice paper and use the cocoa to give that aged look. Will do a test run.

The sheet music on my Amica Mia wedding cake in my photos is fondant and edible marker, brushed with a little petal dust to give it a parchment look. I'm sure that would work for your rice paper, too.
