They will be closing our location only. With my position there's really no place to work from home, relocate. Relocate is really not an option for me cause of my kids, i need permission from father. and that will never happen. It hasn't hit me emotionally yet, but it will soon. I've been sending my resume to find a job closer to home, but no calls.
i can't afford to be with out a job w/rent, bills, food and the kids.
one day at a time... right?!

I'm sorry to hear that. I was unemployed for six months and trust me it was for the best! I know it'll be hard, but just hang in there and everything will work out.

Hey, I used to live in that area. What industry are you in? Maybe I know someone, and dh is a recruiter. How much of a commute would you be willing to have? How close are you to the train?

I'm an admin asst. thanks for the thought! i'm hoping to stick around til the end of the year for benefits purpose and such. HR has told me that they'll be working w/recruiters to help us out. i sure hope so!
