Way cool cupcakes and stand!!! I've seen Sandra Lee of Semi-Homemade Cooking w/ Sandra Lee on food network, make those types of stands for so many things!!! It's really very simple the way she explains it you just take a cup and saucer or cup and plate and hot glue the bottom of the cup to the BOTTOM of the plate as a "stand" and repeat for as many tears as you'd like with larger plates on the bottom of course icon_smile.gif

Thanks everyone, I was pretty happy to see the pics posted.

Cupcakes are definitely my new passion! I like that mistakes are small, edible, and don't affect the whole project (like my hazard-ridden cakes).

OhMyGoodies - yes, the stands are very simple to make, and they give a good 'visual punch' to the display, I think. I'm making them like mad - had some requests for them at the birthday party!

NGLEZ09 - Jen's link takes you to the blog, scroll down a little and "Beautiful Holiday Cupcakes" are the tagline for the cupcake pics.

Just my opinion, but I really believe that the moral support this forum provides, gives many of us the 'wings' of confidence we need to go out and TRY. It's worked this way for me; the people on this board are exceptional.
