Where To Get Gingerbread House Patterns
Decorating By brightbrats Updated 13 Dec 2006 , 9:06pm by Doug
I SAW SEVERAL PATTERNS ON HERE, BUT WHEN YOU PRINT THEM, THEY SEEM KIND OF SMALL.
IS THERE A TRICK TO ENLARGING THE PATTERN ?
WHAT IS THE BASIC SIZE ?
AND WHERE ELSE CAN YOU GET SOME PATTERNS ?
I WOULD LOVE TO MAKE A VICTORIAN ONE, IF ANYONE HAS ANY PATTERNS, I WOULD APPRECIATE IT.
THANKS A BUNCH.
I have used a couple patterns that I found on Frankys Attic. If you google frankysattic, the website should come up.
I am also a member of a yahoo group about gingerbread houses. If you go to yahoo groups and do a search for gingerbreadhousebaking (all one word), you should be able to find the group.
And, if you go to ivillage.com, there are several patterns from past issues of Good Housekeeping magazine. Actually, that's where I got my pattern for the house I made this year!
Hope this helps!
I haven't had time to post the picture of my gingerbread house from this year...guess I should do that sometime soon! ![]()

they download as small graphic images which you have to place into a document (such as a Word doc) and then stretch then to their full size.
you may even have to print them in sections and tape them together.
for example: the ones I made for the church are based so large you can only print them in sections. The blue squares are 1/2 inch wide...so you would stretch the graphic until when printed the squares are 1/2 inch.
I'm not sure what the size other templates are; you might pm the designer to find out (tho' i'm gonna guess they're 1/4 inch)
