Shaddi:

Here is my translation...

Coconut Gumpaste

1/4 cup water
1 envelop unflavored gelatin
3 Tablespoons glucose
2 Tablespoons glycerin
2 Tablespoons shortening
1/4 cup unsweetened coconut milk
1 teaspoon coconut (or other flavor) extract (optional)
2 to 2 1/2 pounds powedered sugar 10x

Procedure:

* Place gelatin in the water and let it stand 5 minutes, the gelatin will absorb the water.

* Cook the gelatin mixture in a pyrex bowl on a water bath (bain Marie) stirring with a wooden spoon until gelatin is dissolved.

* Add the glucose, glycerin, coconut milk and the flavor (extract)

*Put half of the sugar in a container and add the liquid stirring the mixture with a wooden spoon. Keep stirring and adding more sugar until the mixture does not stick to the sides of the container

* Put mixture on a counter that has been sprinkled with powdered sugar and knead.

* Keep adding sugar as needed so it does not stick to your hands.

* Store in a plastic bag until you need to use it.
