Ok I have to make a little mermaid cake and I am nervouse about her eyes. I've made other characters but never people. I don't want her to look crazy or evil. Any advice??? Oh I am doing it tomorrow so any help will be appreciated. icon_wink.gif

can you do her with her eyes closed?

I hate doing eyes to.

Here's a close-up of the face of my DD's Ariel doll (only doll I've ever seen that actually loks like Ariel and not Barbie with red hair!). It is what I used as a guide when I made an Ariel figure recently.

I think the key to getting her to look right is the size of her eyes - they are quite large in proportion to her other features. Just use a VERY fine paint brush (I used a 0000!) and a steady hand!
