Hard Candy With Sprinkles?

I am trying a few new things and was wondering if anyone had tried to mix jimmies or sprinkles into their hard candy? I would like to make solid round lollipops with the sprinkles in them, but I wasn't sure if they would melt from the heat of the candy. If anyone has any experience with something like this, let me know what you think. TIA!

well i would think they would melt, maybe if you sprinkle them on to the pops before they set up they will sink into it.

I would think jimmies would melt but the other sprinkles should be just fine. I hve done the carrots and bunnies on egg shapes and had no problems. I have also done the mini lights in a tree shape. HTH
