I use the regular cookie icing and add the wilton's white tint for extra bright white. If you don't have it or cant' get it ...don't add vanilla! You will get a nice soft white if you use confection sugar, light corn syrup, milk or water and a pinch (less than a pinch) of salt.

You can find a nice cookie icing on this site. Good luck and have FUN!

Easiest ever - 1 c confect sugar, sifted, 1-2 tbsp milk, CLEAR flavoring of some sort (can't use the good vanilla). You can add more or less milk depending on whether you want to flood or pipe. For snowflakes, I also sprinkle with plain old granulated sugar - looks like snow when it sticks to the icing.

This icing dries to a shiny, hard finish. Great to use for icing or to outline and fill in with tip 2 or 3.
Wilton Poured Cookie Icing
1 cup sifted confectioners' sugar
2 teaspoons milk
2 teaspoons light corn syrup
Place sugar and milk in bowl. Stir until mixed thoroughly. Add corn syrup and mix well. For filling in areas, use thinned icing (add small amounts of light corn syrup until desired consistency is reached). (Exactly Toba's Glace Icing! ) -

Powdered Sugar, a spash of flavoring (I use almond) and water to reach the consistency you want. I just "dip" the top of the cookie in the glaze, wipe off the excess and let dry overnight. You can then decorate them your favorite icing or leave as is. I personally like them with the glaze alone, so when I have an order,I bake a few extras for myself and my family.
