Hi
I am making a coffee mug cake this evening and need to know the best way to secure the handle to the mug.

Thanks

All I can think of is wrapping or twist tie some fondant or gumpaste around a pipe cleaner or something thicker that holds its shape when bent to look like a handle and sticking the ends in the cake.

depending on how thick your handle is and how big the "mug" part of the cake is, you could use a lollipop stick and push through the top & bottom parts of the handle where it connects to the cake into the "mug" part of the cake. I hope this makes sense icon_smile.gif Oh and I'd use some royal icing for "glue" as reinforcement
