Cake Idea For 14 Year Old Boy!! Help!

Hi!! I really need help with ideas for a teenaged boy. He plays football but they don't want a football cake... any ideas anyone??
Do you have any ideas of other things he likes. My grandson just turned 14 and he plays baseball, likes to skateboard and got and Ipod for his birthday. I had thought of doing a cake that looked like an Ipob or his X-box. Find out some more of his interests.
they dont want anything football? or just a football shape? if its just the football shape that they dont want...perhaps a jersey t-shirt that has his colors/ number / name etc.
depending on how many servings they need, you could carve it from a 9x13 cake .
see if he has any other interests or hobbies, favorite colors etc.
