I want to create a bucket cake with beer cans and ice inside of it for a client's birthday. I see a good idea in the gallery for it but i am wondering what cakes are used for the bucket and how do i make the ice cubes from poured sugar and also the recipe for poured sugar. If i want to create a name on the beer can such as budweiser or any other type of beer what is the easiest way to create it. and would it be better to cover the beer can with fondant or buttercream. Need urgent replies!!

why not pm the person whose cake you like they would probably be of more help.

But for me, i would make different size rounds for the bucket, at least 3, 2inch layers. I would do a 6, 7, 8 then stack the six on the bottom and go up from there, like you do for a whimsy cake. for the beer cans i would cover with fondant, free hand the label, or use an edible image if you have it available to you. Just do a search on here for hard candy for a recipe, leave out the dies and or flavoring if you don't want it to taste like anything.
