Hello everyone. I stuck as to how to frost a Poinsettia cake using the wilton poinsettia cake pan with buttercream frosting. i saw the instruction on Wilton.com, but it didn't say how to frost it w/bc. And how much should i charge? would it be okay to charge for christmas character cakes, such as snowmen, Santa and of course the poinsettia?

Thanks a bunch

I have this pan but have not used it yet, so I can't help you there sorry. The snowmen, santa etc. are not licensed characters like Elmo so I don't think you will have a problem with charging for them.

Mmmm, not much info out there...

Here's what I found:

http://www.wilton.com/forums/messageview.cfm?catid=8&threadid=75935&FTVAR_MSGDBTABLE=

and the info given further down is for b/c poinsettias:

http://www.wilton.com/decorating/basic/pointsettia.cfm

Hard to find info on a pan that was released with a jello recipe. (What were they thinking?)

Here's info on basic decorating of a novelty pan:

http://www.wilton.com/decorating/noveltyshape.cfm

Couldn't even find you a picture of a completed cake icon_sad.gif

Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance...

Good luck and please post a picture!
