My sister is going to have a winter themed wedding cake, and she wants a buck and doe on her cake. Where do I start to look for deer figurines to put on her cake??

Here's what she wants, she just wants to take the traditional cake topper out and have the deer instead - she wants the buck on top and the doe on the bottom, so it looks like they're walking towards each other.

Shirley,
You have got to be one of the most helpful people i have ever come across. You are great. Whenever I see a question I always have a look to see if you have given one of your great answers. Thank you.

Your very welcome, I'm always happy to help if I can. Actually I have to be honest, the reason I am able to find things easily is because I am retired, single, my children are all grown and I have time on my hands. I worked for Safeway stores for 30 years, now my time is my own.

Hi Shirley,
I am a retiree as well, must say it is wonderful not to have to go to work every day & I am trying to concentrate on my cakes. My family keep trying to find things for me to do & can't understand it when I try & explain to them how wonderful it is not to go to work, I am so enjoying bumbling around doing my own thing. I do love cake decorating.

Me too, my kids ask me once in awhile if I get lonely. I am busier than when I was working, I do volunteer work, I am on the board of directors for our local community center, I am on 3 committees there as well and once a month I do a luncheon for the seniors group. I do all the family cakes for every event, and I donate cakes to the center for their social events. Who has time to be lonely? Well, occasionally, but it only lasts for a short time. I always know I can come to CC and see some great cakes, get some new ideas and a friendly ear if I need one.

Hi Shirley,
I am with you all the way. We have really gotten off the subject here, haven't we. But it has been fun & I feel I have a great new friend.

Your right June, the subject was Deer.
So Jessie, here is another one for you, this one is lovely, on eBAY and not terribly expensive.
