I have a wonderful recipe for a Black Forest Cake. However, the recipe calls for 1/4 c cherry brandy, which makes the cake pretty strong. Kids will be eating this cake. Does anyone have a substitute for the cherry brandy? Thanks.
I would think you could use the juice from Marachino Cherries or maybe even Grenadine syrup.
