Things are sure quiet on the decorating front....at least for me. So far, I haven't done any advertising. My mom and mother in law both work at schools, so I have sent a few cakes with both of them to get the word at among the staff there. It's only generated 2 cakes so far....
So without advertising, I can't expect orders. My plan is to get some brochures ready for the New Year....and to believe that strangers will want to pay for my cakes. 
But I have 3 cakes to do before the end of the month (all for practice and not paid), so hopefully I'll have a few more pictures for my portfolio.
its just this time of year people are spending all there money on christmas or whatever holiday it is they celebrate and pies and cookies and fudge are more assciated with the season than cake im sure it will pick up in the new year.
