I've been asked to provide a wedding and grooms cake. The young lady is in to "Gothic Stuff". She wants a topsy turvy cake (see picture below) in tomb stone gray, white gray, and black with a Day of the Dead cake topper. The young man wants a groom's cake in BRIGHT purple, blue, and green. The style of the cake should be in keeping with "Steal Your Face" /"Greatful Dead".

I must confess I have no clue about any of the gothic stuff, steal your face or the greatful dead. Sooooooo I am desperately reaching out to any and all CC'ers to provide any information. Suggested pricing (especially for the topsy turvy cake). Is the picture from a book? Please point me in a direction that will help me provide the cakes.

Note: the wedding is in January with 150 attendees.

Sorry, can't help you, but I just wanted to say that I love that cake! Wild! You could do a google search on the goth stuff.

def do a google search -you'll probably get more info than you'll know what to do with. The couple sounds quite eclectic! Bet it'll be one heck of an interesting wedding!

This is also one of their logos- you could do some in fondant around or on the cake:

Also: that topsy turvy cake is beautiful, but it's HUUUGE for 150, esp. if there's also a groom's cake.
