Help, I am fairly new to cake decorating and I am looking for help with making a blue gel frosting for a lake. Can anyone help me with the correct name for this and how do I make it?

Wilton sells pipping gel. I would get that and put some blue color in it. Very easy.

Thank you so much. I am doing a golf cake for a friend and I love the gel for the lake much better than regular buttercream.

I think what you are talking about is called Pipping Gel. You can by it at most crafts stores that sell Wilton Stuff. All you need to do is color it!
Here is Duck cake I made and I put pipping gel Tinited blue under the duck.
