I have a cake request for the end of this month. I have posted the link from the cinderella cakes site that the mom got the idea from. She wants a cake with the same idea as this one, but wants an edible castle instead of the crystal one. I've made a large castle before, but never a small one. I want something to be somewhat simple and stable. The cake will be 10" round. The castle will be really small. I've got some ideas.... rice crispy covered in fondant, towers made out of those cereal straw things covered in fondat with a royal icing point on top? glued to castle with royal?? Would like to have the "blocks" around the top edge of castle too. I'm really too tired of thinking about this cake..... maybe it's because mother-in-law will be visiting when this cake is due and I'm stressing about getting ready for her visit too! icon_cry.gif
Any advice/ ideas for this cake would be helpful!! TIA!!!
