Was wondering if anyone knows what to put in the bottom of small tin pails, to hold cookies up in. Need something with weight. cookies are top heavy when they are on a stick and my pail has fallen sooooo many times I can't keep eating broken cookies , Well I could, but shouldn't icon_biggrin.gif any help would be greatly appreciated!

Aquarium gravel works-someone here suggested putting it in a small baggie to ensure that is not in contact with the food-this is what I do now as well.

I love the dried beans idea!! Cheap, heavy, food safe... and hey they can make dinner later too!

How about M&M's (when they're on sale, of course!) or some MMF, which you can also use as a base to hold your lolipop sticks.

I always like to stick to edible whenever possible.

For an edible solution, you could use candy clay. I saw this in a cookie bouquet book by Autumn Carpenter, and thought it was a neat idea!
