I need a design for a cake for a women's conference for church. The theme is The Missing Identity.

Any ideas? When they ordered the cake, they didn't have any more of the flyers, so she can't tell me what it was. She just said... do whatever you want to make it fit. UM. Okay.

Thanks

YIKES! I agree that is a hard one! I wish I could come up with some bright ideas but I can't. I suggest you try to locate a copy of the flyer. How about from the printer? Surely someone has one!

You could do a cake like one of those Missing fliers and put I. Dentity for the name. Last Seen....

How about a person shaped cake like a stick figure with a big question mark on it. Make the stick figure black and the question mark red.

I was told that the flyer had a pic of a house with flowers, and a woman with no face.

Does that help with the creative juices?

Anyone?

Do they mean missing identity like a woman doesn't know who she is yet? Or like some women who feel they are several people (mother, wife, nurse, housekeeper, chef, chauffeur, psychologist, etc...) without ONE single identity? I think you need more info from the host of the brunch in order to do the cake.

Find out if it's a serious topic or a fun lighthearted one. Like neomommy's idea of a driver's license is fun icon_biggrin.gif - but if they are all serious about this they might be offended?

For them to tell you to just make "whatever" isn't very helpful I think.

I think that it is kind of a "who am I in Christ?" thing. I am not sure. They are going away for the weekend, and the cake is for this coming Saturday. they have to take it with them on Friday Morning... soooo what ever it is needs to 1.be stable, and 2. Not bleed, and 3. Not dry out.

if its going far and with them then i think you should do the missing's person sign in fondant and when you fill out the information for the name I. dentity like someone alredy suggested and you can put a field like searched by :Christ or wanted by :christ something like that ......I hope that helps gl
