Hi there...

I saw this on an online catalog and thought I should share with my fellow CC brothers and sisters...
I think this is a great idea for transporting cupcakes:

Hope this helps everyone out there icon_biggrin.gif

Please note that this is the same as Martha Stewart's cupcake carrier which is/was carried by KMart. I checked this out and there is VERY little room between layers and it only holds 27 cupcakes and those little tab thingees on the side can come off quite easily.

It IS a cheap alternative, but it is not a well made alternative. You are just as well suited to get the Oneida carrier for 24 cupcakes or if you are really a big cupcake maker, then splurge and get the Cupcake Courier. Now THAT is well made, has TONS of space between layers and holds 36.

Do a search from about 9 months ago and you'll see my review of the three alternatives.

Thanks berryblondeboys, Where would I be able to find the Cupcake Courier? Lots of cupcakes get done around here. and something really sturdy to not only store them till I get them to destination but for the transportation issue would be just wonderful, and would make my hair turn gray a little slower. Thanks.

I picked one up from Walmart from Oneida. (it was hiding on the top shelf of 2 walmarts) It has great space from one tier to the next and a large dome on top... I use it all the time and have never had a problem with messing up the cupcake. Cost about $10. I picked up two.

One is my written commentary, one shows a picture of the spacing between layers (about 4-5 posts down).

Good luck!

I have that cupcake carrier at home, personally I love it.

When I get home I will measure how much room you have between layers for sure so that everyone can make their own call.

I have not had a problem at all with the legs coming off, in fact I was trying the other day to take them off and couldnt.

To me this was a good investment!

Will write again when I get home and maybe post some pictures with cupcakes in it. (If I have time to make any.)
