And it turned out great. I am attempting my first bow ( or anything!! ) from fondant. It was very easy to make. For now, the only question I have is........how do you keep your fondant from drying (hardening like the bow is) when it is ON the cake. Won't it get hard overnight????? Just wondering in case I ever feel VERY brave!!!!! LOL

if the cake is left too long it may harden but the moisture from the cake keeps it from doing that as fast plus you should only put the fondant on as early as the day before it is to be eaten IMO. Usually you would make and decos that need to harden before that. HTH

Only fondant accents get hard, the fondant that is covering the cake stays moist from the bc and cake underneath. Glad your experience was great!!!
