I bought the "Wilton" big cake leveler and have used it quite a bit. However, lately none of my cakes are coming out level. I have tried all different ways of doing it. Do these things need to be sharpened regularly? Is there another trick that I am missing? Thanks for your help.

As I recall from a past post, you should check and make sure your counter is level....
