No No No No I Can't Look.....help

my darn cake is falling apart icon_cry.gif just put it in the fridge 1/2 hr ago and every time I peek (every5mins!)my elmo is leaning plus falling plus his head cracked etc. icon_cry.gif cake is suposed to be a present cake with elmo ontop.present is a 9in double layer sq.and elmo is a wonder mold w/ball pan for the head.eyes nose limbs are fondant.well STUPID me used one plastic dowel right throughthe middle of the head,body and square cake thinking it would hold all together,but there really is no support under elmo icon_mad.gif if this cake falls apart my niece is going to be livid icon_evil.gif to put it mildly.

Did you add pudding to the cake mix to make it more denser and sturdy?

Darned gravity! It gets me sometimes, too.

If it's continuing to lean, I hate to say it, but I don't think it's going to get any better. (I'm speaking from experience here.)

Do you have time to try to fix it before it gets worse?

Can you take the Elmo off the top of the present and try to reconstruct with added support? I'm not sure how to advise you to support it, but hopefully someone with more experience at 3D cakes will come along soon to help.
